The NPC will behave as though a the date occurred.Īfter a date, dialogue cycles will change to notate the new relationship between the Player and NPC. The player will miss the date cutscene, which cannot be revisited. Standing up an NPC does not appear to have in-game consequences. The NPC will give a time and location to meet the next day, such as "10am in front of the library." If the player is more than one hour late, the NPC will wander off and the unfulfilled quest will disappear from the log at the end of the date. Once accepted, the date will be added to the quest list as normal. By speaking with the NPC, the player can choose to accept the quest or put it off until a later time. When a datable NPC reaches sufficient friendship hearts, a date will generate in the form of a new quest. If the player answers yes (note that the question is not asked directly), the maximum heart level will be increased from 10 to 15, and the Player will begin officially Dating the NPC. Players may give gifts to these NPCs in order to increase friendship levels and eventually go on "dates" (more akin to cutscenes/events).Īfter the 2nd date, the NPC will ask the player if they would like to become a couple. Romance is enabled within the game among the 15 currently available Romance Candidates.
